Somemore Preparations

Went down to Artfriends today to look for more materials.
Couldn't manage to find the main 'ingredient' that I was looking for, namely the epoxy putty.

Don't really want to get Apoxie Sculpt (AS) as it's too troublesome to order it from the US and have it shipped over although it might make more sense financially if I did so.
Finally managed to get the 2 part epoxy putty from a hardware shop in Chinatown after much searching about. But it's about $6 for a miserable amount weighing abt 100 grams. There are cheaper alternatives at about $3.70 but the amount is slightly lesser. The main reason I bought that particular putty is because I know someone who has used it before.

Maybe I'll go down to Sunshine Plaza on the coming Monday since there is a greater concentration of hobby shops there. Hopefully, just hopefully, I'll find a shop selling AS at a reasonable price, though I highly doubt so. I've only seen the darn expensive Tamiya 2 part epoxy putty being sold there and that's a hell of an expensive putty to use, but that was years ago.

I still need to get paint primer, suitably coloured paints and some hard rubber hollowed squares. But I really need to get a huge amount of sculpting material if this is to work out. Have alot of trial and errors to work out.
